i love Hosea 14:8 when God says 'he is like a green pine tree ' ... all your frutifulness comes from me' we are prone to forget this' ... in and around ourselves' _ all we have is because of his Grace to us' _' in every sephere of our lives. .. we hear this again and again and yet the striving 'to do' is ever before us' when he has done it all ! He is the Root of our Tree ... ( reading in context ' Matthew 12:33_ ) when Jesus says make a tree good and its fruit will be good , make a tree bad and it's fruit will be bad".. Our hearts will shape our trees , whichever way we allow them to bend '(the mouth will speak what the heart is full of ) whatever care you give your soul, spirit , mind , will, and body ..... in the way of what a tree needs to flourish .... water, sun, nutrients ,, cuttings' oh the cuttings ... this will surely determine the health of the tree.! how does it grow'?? God makes all things grow for sure, He changes us ... but we ' plant' cultivate' by faith , in good soil ... 'God's dirt' so to speak' then 'tend' to the tree .. feeding on the seed of His Word .. walking in faith believing him ... humbly relating to him ,listening to him' in praying' for the needs of those around us' ' remembering he became human to reach all of humanity ... Meditate on his love , his Words of truth to you _this is nothing short of hard work , learning how to recognize the weeds that speak 'death' and replacing them with 'good seed' ... the elements will assault time and time again' but without attention they will wither, bear no fruit and eventually die.... not for lack of knowledge or wisdom or opportunity but losing to the war of the flesh , instead of choosing to overcome the battle of self reliance...it's to walk about without wearing the proper armour.... using upteen falsity's to fill us up' .. all which will dissappoint ...not to mention disregarding 'the Gift' Given at such a great cost to Him... Without ackowledging our constant need of dependence on the Tree of Life ,. we will eat of the fruit 'that does not lead to Life . without a doubt 'we do reap what we sow. . Don't we all just love beautiful trees? .
